Prayers for Agape Flights

Please be in prayer for Agape Flights Pilots! I am taking this story from my Friend Travis' blog Created for His Glory ...

"Agape's plane took off this morning for its weekly run to the island. As they were coming into the area of the Bahamas, the right engine blew out. Pilots Steve Koch and Jeff Yannucciello were able to guide in the fully loaded plane and make a safe landing. PRAISE THE LORD!! We are again reminded of how precious life is, and how we are not to squander even a minute of it. We are also reminded of God's perfect plans for our lives. Agape ran a single engine airplane until the crash in December 2007, which spared both pilot's lives, miraculously. As a result, Agape insisted on a double engine plane when a replacement was purchased and had to wait a full year for the plane to be found, rebuilt, painted and declared ready for missions work. Because of this single decision, 2 pilots and all the cargo are safely on the ground in the Bahamas! His grace and mercy are incomprehensible. Please pray that the engine can be repaired in a timely manner. I have no idea about the facilities where they are. They did not make their landing at the usual airport being an unscheduled landing and all, so they are at the mercy of the local government and agencies. Agape is mobilizing all available resources and could possibly fly in the mechanics and parts needed on another airplane. We will keep you posted and we greatly appreciate your prayers for all that is going on right now. You can imagine everyone is scrambling. The pilots have families that will miss them and Jeff has a 3 year old and an infant at home whose mama is probably in need of prayers and reassurance! In spite of this, we are praising Him for His plan and willing to be used however He asks us.

We can't thank you enough for coming alongside of us in our ministry. We can't thank you enough for the prayers you offer up for us so faithfully too. We will try to keep you updated as we know more about what happened and how the repairs are going to be done and the timing of all of it.

**Update: The pilots were able to land the plane at an airport in North Eluthra where they knew someone with a plane (Dave Spangler), so that airplane will be used to take the cargo to its destinations in 2 separate trips. One was completed today to Haiti and tomorrow, the Dominicaln Republic cargo will be delivered. He is good!"

Camden's bear Birdie was on the flight on his first "missions trip," granted we are not at all worried about this little bear, as our prayers are going out to these two Pilots that are on this real mission. Please pray for them now if you would, and continue to pray for them. I will try to keep you updated too.

You can check Travis blog for some great photos of Birdie's visit before his flight, they really are showing him a great time, and giving Camden some great stories to tell and learn about! Thanks Prachars -b
