Birthday Celebrations for Emily's 6th

While I wait for my trial run of bills to print this late in the evening I thought I would take the time to post a few current photos from Emily's Birthday last week. On Tuesday, maybe even Wednesday and one as late as Thursday I started calling Emily's classmates to have them over after school to celebrate Emily's 6th Birthday with her. I thought lets get this together fast instead of waiting a few weeks and sending out invites, so we did it and she had six of her classmates over after school until as late as 9:30 PM was when I dropped the last one off. They all played so well together, a few fights near the end of the night around 8PM but nothing SuperMom and SuperDad could not stop! So here are some photos of her Birthday Parties.

We got Emily High School Musical 3 for her birthday present (actually Camden and Eva gave it to her). We planned on the girls watching this that evening during her party, but it lasted about 15 minutes and a few of them wanted to continue to play and the rest joined in. Poor Eva was so excited that the girls were including her, and she was just upset that they would not set still and be quiet for her to watch the movie, it was priceless.Emily with her birthday cake I made. I spent most of the night before up baking two batches of cupcakes to take to school ... amazingly not many came home!Okay here is all the girls minus one missing in action ... but they were having so much fun! They thought our house was a MAZE with the staircase the way it is. You can't tell to well, but they all have dress up high heels on!We let them make their own Pizzas! Remember last year when we bought Pizza Hut Pizza and it was a waste, this year we made our own ... and they had a blast doing it.Already to eat their pizza, and Eva was so happy to join them!Ice cream and cupcakes. Wow, a few of these girls know how to eat their Ice Cream ... and the rest of them just know how to eat their toppings and cupcakes! It might have been a messy time but so much fun. You can see Emily blowing out her candles on the cake. These are the few moments when they would watch the movie. See Eva in the lower corner, one of the girls joined her to share the blanket and it made Eva so happy. I picked these little popcorn containers up at Hobby Lobby for cheap, and thought it would be fun for the girls. I think it was when we brought the popcorn down, and they were finished that they got the idea to get up and move around.Saturday we took Emily out shopping just Grandma Helen and me, then met everyone else at Hu-Hot. We got her a new music CD, an alarm clock and a Digital Camera like Camden's.Birthdays at Hu-Hot, YUM! Cheesecake Ragoons, better than birthday cake.Emily's Birthday Party at Grandpa and Grandma Marner's she got to celebrate with Grandma Ruth ... we were almost a month late getting together for Ruth's birthday! Here she is on her new big girl bike from G&G Marner. Eva was pretty happy when we got home because this meant that Em's old Dora bike was for sure hers now!Birthday cake fun ... this one is Grandma Ruth's.Grandma Ruth gets to blow out her own candles!Emily's birthday cake. I went all out and got a Yummy's cake for her, even did chocolate icing (I don't do chocolate, but Em loves it). Would you believe she did not have one single bite of her cake, she just wanted ice cream. One of Em's favorite places to be, on Grandpa's lap!

Happy 6th Birthday Emily!

What a cool pizza making party!! Oddly, my kids refuse to eat frozen pizza, but if I let them make their own?? It's a whole 'nother story! Geesh...

Happy 6th Birthday, Emily!!!
